Ambassador of Belarus to Tajikistan O.Ivanov took part in the event dedicated the 5500th anniversary of Sarazm.

On September 11-13,2020 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan Oleg Ivanov visited Sughd region at the invitation of President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with a group of ambassadors accredited in Tajikistan.

The main parts of the trip were events, dedicated to the celebration of the 5500th anniversary of the ancient city of Sarazm.

During the visit to the cities of Ayni, Penjikent and relevant districts of Sughd region Oleg Ivanov comprehensively discussed with local authorities the issues of Belarus-Tajikistan trade and economic cooperation, including the urban infrastructure and tourism modernization.
