About the meeting of the CSTO Committee of Secretaries of the Security Council

On April 29, 2021 at the Palace of the Nation President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the heads of the delegations — participants of the meeting of the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization member states (CSSC CSTO). The issues of countering threats, particularly the negative consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, the global socio-economic and financial crisis and its impact on the security and economy of the countries, biosecurity, drug trafficking and cybercrime were discussed during the session.

During the meeting of the CSSC CSTO, which was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan Oleg Ivanov, delegates of the CSTO countries continued discussing challenges and threats to the national security of Russia, Tajikistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the issues of interaction of the states within the CSTO framework.
