Ambassador of Belarus Oleg Ivanov meets Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan

On February 19, 2018 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan Oleg Ivanov held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohir Saidzoda and the new head of Department of the Commonwealth of Independent States of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sarvar Bakhti.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, including the preparation of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to the Republic of Tajikistan and the 12th meeting of the Tajik-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission on trade-economic cooperation in Dushanbe in 2018.

The sides exchanged views within the framework of the forthcoming High-Level International Conference «Countering terrorism and radicalism» and International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development» 2018-2028, which will be held in 2018 in Tajikistan.
