On the Participation of the Chargé d'Affaires of Belarus in a Wreath-Laying Ceremony

On May 9, 2026, Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Tajikistan, Nikolai Kolodkin, took part in a wreath-laying ceremony in honor of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, held by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.

Also attending the ceremony were the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Mayor of Dushanbe, Rustami Emomali; the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Faizali Idizoda; the Prime Minister of the country, Kokhir Rasulzoda; representatives of the Ministry of Defense and other security agencies; veterans of the Great Patriotic War; the diplomatic corps accredited in Dushanbe; and the commander of the 201st Military Base of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The ceremony took place in the Victory Park complex in Dushanbe, which was renovated for the holiday and is one of the most important memorial complexes and historical and cultural sites in the capital of Tajikistan.
