About the opening of the forum “Belarus-Tajikistan-Afghanistan” and the exhibition “Made in Belarus”
06.04.2021Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan Oleg Ivanov took part in the opening of the forum “Belarus-Tajikistan-Afghanistan” and the exhibition “Made in Belarus” and addressed a welcoming speech.
Co-chairmen of the Tajikistan-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission — the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus Ivan Krupko and the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan Ziyozoda Sulaymon Rizoi, representatives of the official and business delegation of the Republic of Belarus took part in the event.
From the Tajik side the event was attended by the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Saadi Sanginmurod Kodirzoda, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan Jamshed Djumakhon Jumakhonzoda, Chairman of the Committee of Tourism Development under the Government of Tajikistan Tojiddin Djurazoda.
From the Afghan side — Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Tajikistan Jawad Shula, as well as a delegation of the Afghan business community.
Reports on topical issues of trilateral cooperation, as well as presentations of export-import potential of the three countries were conducted in the course of the event.
A ceremony of signing treaties and agreements was held as a part of the business forum.
The exhibition of Belarusian manufacturers under the common brand Made in Belarus reprepresents meat and dairy products, confectionery products, consumer goods, agricultural machinery, recreational and medical tourism, achievements in crop and livestock production.
On April 7, 2021 the agricultural forum “TajBelAgro” will take place during which the participants will be able to discuss questions of cooperation in accordance with the specialization of their enterprises.
The business forum is organized under support of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Tajikistan.
