On the Participation of the Ambassador of Belarus in the St. John's Readings
18.11.2025On November 16, 2025, Viktor Denisenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan, took part in the VIII International Educational St. John's Readings, dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Dushanbe and Tajikistan Diocese and the 30th anniversary of the glorification of St. Luke of Crimea. The event was held on the theme Enlightenment and Morality: Personal Formation and the Challenges of the Times.
The event was attended by Bishop Feodosiy of Nizhny Tagil and Nevyansk, Semyon Grigoriev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of local authorities, educational institutions, and a large group of compatriots.
Addressing the participants, Viktor Denisenko noted the exceptional importance of this event in the context of mainstreaming education and morality in modern society. In particular, he emphasized the need to establish clear rules to ensure that new technologies serve humanity rather than destroy it. According to the Belarusian Ambassador, shaping the individual through education and morality is not simply an educational task; it is a strategic imperative for the sustainable development of societies in Belarus and Russia. Only by combining knowledge and the moral principles of Christianity, as Viktor Denisenko believes, can we raise a generation capable of not only successfully adapting to the challenges of the times but also actively shaping a future based on humanism, responsibility, and justice.
