On the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan V.A. Denisenko in the international scientific and historical conference

At the invitation of the Council of War and Labor Veterans of the Republic of Tajikistan, on September 27, 2024, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan V.A. Denisenko  gave a speech at the international scientific and historical conference “The Historical Significance of the Victory of the Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”.
The conference is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and was held as part of the international campaign “Moscow — the Capital of the Great Victory: Memory of Generations”.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Mansuri Dilrabo Saidullo took part in the conference as an honorary chairperson. The event was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Tajikistan S.V. Grigoryev, Chairman of the Council of War and Labor Veterans of the Republic of Tajikistan Shukurjon Zukhurov, Chairman of the Coordination Council of the International Union “Commonwealth of Public Organizations of Veterans (Pensioners) of Independent States” V.P. Volkov, representatives of the Ministry of Defense, public organizations and scientific institutions of Tajikistan and other CIS countries. 
The Republic of Belarus was represented at the conference by Y.I. Lutsik, First Deputy Chairman of the Republican Council of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans. In the final part of the forum, the Belarusian participants handed over capsules with soil from the memorial complexes “Brest Hero Fortress” and “Mound of Glory” to the Tajik side.
