On the screening of the film by M. Ptashuk “In August 44…”

On April 29, the screening of the Belarusian-Russian feature film by Mikhail Ptashuk “In August 44…” took place at the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University. The event was organized with the active participation of the Embassy of Belarus and Rossotrudnichestvo within the framework of the III Festival of student films “Colors of the Native Land”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Before the screening of the film, the First Secretary of the Embassy N. Kolodkin spoke. He presented the history of the creation of the film, and also spoke about the main milestones of the liberation of Belarus and the genocide of the Belarusian people during this war. The Belarusian diplomat called on Tajik students and teachers to carefully preserve the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
In addition, N. Kolodkin thanked the festival organizers for popularizing military themes among young people through the art of cinema.
