On the participation of the Ambassador of Belarus in a briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan

On December 20, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan V. Denisenko took part in a briefing dedicated to the country's upcoming chairmanship of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in 2025. The briefing was held by the Head of the CIS Countries Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan A. Saidmurodzoda, who announced the main areas of the chairmanship, including strengthening political cooperation, developing economic ties, implementing humanitarian initiatives and measures to ensure security in the region. Plans for the institutional development of the CIS were also presented. The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps of the CIS member states accredited in Dushanbe.
