Participation of an Embassy Representative in the Joint Meeting of the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications

On September 29–30, 2026, N.G. Kolodkin, First Secretary of the Embassy, ​​participated in the 66th/33rd Joint Meeting of the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC) and the RCC Coordination Council of CIS Member States on Informatization, as well as the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Regional Development Forum for CIS countries (Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan).

The events addressed a wide range of issues aimed at enhancing the Council's operational efficiency and improving its cooperation mechanisms regarding pressing matters of digital society development, including strengthening the protection of youth rights through information and communication technologies.
The second day of the event focused on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), featuring discussions on formulating relevant recommendations for national communications administrations. The theme was: “Connectivity as a Catalyst: Implementing the Awaza Program through Digital Transformation.”
