Ambassador of Belarus V.Denisenko meets the Minister of Agriculture of Tajikistan Ziyozoda Sulaymon Rizoi

On November 24, 2021 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan Viktor Denisenko met with the Minister of agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Tajik part of the Belarus-Tajikistan Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation Ziyozoda Sulaymon Rizoi.

During the meeting the parties discussed the current trends of Belarus-Tajikistan cooperation in trade, industry, agriculture, and education.

Both parties expressed their satisfaction with the growth of the bilateral trade turnover, which in January — September 2021 increased by 58 percent and amounted to 113.1 million dollars.

Special attention was dedicated to the Belarus-Tajikistan Intergovernmental Commission.

The parties have agreed on holding the next Commission meeting in the Republic of Belarus during the first half of 2022.
