On the joint meeting of the Ambassadors of Belarus and Russia with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan

As part of the efforts of Belarus and Russia to promote the idea of developing a Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century, on August 20, 2025, a joint meeting was held between the heads of the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan V. Denisenko and S. Grigoriev with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan S. Mukhriddin.


The head of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Tajikistan was informed that one of the main topics to be discussed at the III Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security (October, Minsk) will be the need to develop and sign the Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century. Following the discussion, it is planned to adopt a joint statement “Towards the Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century”.


A copy of the joint appeal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus M. Ryzhenkov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S. Lavrov with a call to join the said statement was also handed over to S. Mukhriddin.


At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed the substantive aspects of the joint statement, as well as the prospects for the participation of the Tajik delegation in the III Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.
