On the gala reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus

On July 2, 2025, a gala reception was held in Dushanbe on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The guest of honor of the Belarusian side was the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Saidzoda Rahim.
Opening the reception, the Ambassador of Belarus V. Denisenko emphasized that “July 3 occupies a special place in the history and destiny of the Belarusian people. On this day, we also celebrate the liberation of the republic from the fascist invaders, which took place in 1944. We remember and honor all those who heroically, not sparing their lives, fought against the enemy on the fields of the Great Patriotic War for the sake of our peaceful future.”
According to him, over the years of independence, the republic has achieved significant results. In particular, V. Denisenko stated that: “Modern Belarus is a sovereign state with developed science, education, mechanical engineering, agriculture, energy, wood processing, food, chemical, light and other industries.” In addition, the Belarusian diplomat drew the guests' attention to the fact that "… Despite all the obstacles, the Republic of Belarus will remain a peaceful country whose foreign policy is based on the principle of mutual respect, good neighborliness, and the rejection of threats and the use of force in international relations. We will continue to cooperate with all who wish us well and peace." V. Denisenko noted with satisfaction that within the framework of cooperation with the Republic of Tajikistan, we have reached a strategic level, having achieved positive results in priority areas. In this regard, he expressed special words of gratitude to the leadership of Tajikistan, all our Tajik friends, brothers and partners for trusting and mutually beneficial cooperation, for constructive interaction on international platforms.
