On the participation of the Ambassador of Belarus in the International Conference

On March 6, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan V. Denisenko took part in the International Conference “Emomali Rahmon's Water Diplomacy: From the First Step to Global Partnership”. The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The conference is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the adoption by the UN General Assembly of the first water initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan E. Rahmon and the presentation of the book “Emomali Rahmon's Water Diplomacy: From the First Step to Global Partnership”.
The participants of the event expressed a common opinion that E. Rahmon's “water diplomacy” contributes to the formation of a more sustainable and equitable world order and confirmed that the “Dushanbe Water Process” has become an integral part of global development programs and is firmly included in the agenda of international processes and multilateral platforms.
The conference was attended and addressed by UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Li Junhua, SCO Secretary-General N. Ermekbaev, CIS Secretary-General S. Lebedev, heads of embassies accredited in Tajikistan, UN agencies and representative offices of international organizations, scientists and representatives of the media.
