Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan V. Denisenko meets with the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Sattoriyon Matlubakhon Amonzoda

On October 3, 2024, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan Viktor Denisenko and the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Sattoriyon Matlubakhon Amonzoda.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the preliminary results of interaction between Belarus and Tajikistan in the field of culture in 2024, as well as possible areas of joint work in the near future. It was recognized that contacts in this area are developing steadily, which corresponds to the high level of strategic partnership between Belarus and Tajikistan. This is evidenced by the intensification of bilateral events in the field of cultural exchange, including the implementation of such important projects as the Days of Culture and Days of Cinema of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Tajikistan in October of this year. The parties agreed that the peoples of Belarus and Tajikistan should preserve common values, historical closeness and the richness of national cultures for the sake of peace, stability and mutual understanding in the region.
Following the dialogue, the participants of the meeting recognized the advisability of continuing to build up interaction in the cultural dimension of Belarusian-Tajik cooperation, including considering the possibility of training creative workers from Tajikistan on the basis of higher educational institutions of Belarus. In addition, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan invited Belarusian theater and film artists, as well as musicians, to more actively use Tajikistan's venues for touring activities.
